Books I read in 2012

1. Breakfast of Champions b Kurt Vonnegut. Completed Jan 11. Thought it was fun. First vonnegut book. Liked his matter of fact writing style and drawings. Loved that he kept going into depth about the character’s backgrounds but paid small attention to the actual events occurring for about 80% of the book. Kilgore Trout was an interesting character, as well, mostly because of the descriptions and synopsis of the sci-fi stories he wrote. Dwayne Hoover was a racist, sexist, and homophobic jack ass who thought very little of people from the get go. Poor Wayne Hoobler deserved better than that. And so on.

Laura Davila

Laura Davila, lover of digital media, graduated from the University of Texas RTF program in May 2011. She now works as a web developer for UT's Center for Teaching and Learning. While her first film loves are animation and production design, she has dabbled in a little of everything including documentary production, sound design, and editing. She hopes to attend graduate school for 3D animation and modeling.
